I am a volunteer for a charity named Make-A-Wish. They are a charity that help to grant wishes to kids who are fighting illnesses which affect their everyday lives and, in some cases, they will never recover from.
I believe that everyone should be allowed the chance to live their life to the fullest. To embrace every opportunity. Some people are lucky enough to have years and years to fulfill their dreams, their hopes and their wishes. Others aren’t so lucky. It is for this reason that I believe that Make a Wish, it such an important charity. It is so easy to take life for granted. Sometimes we becomes so embroiled in our own struggles, that we forget that the people around us and close to us are fighting the same battles and dreaming their own dreams. So with this in mind head over to the Make-A-Wish website, read some of the wish stories, which are heart-breakingly beautiful and if you think you can spare the time, maybe register to be a volunteer and you could be helping to make someone's wish come true.
